Dear clients,

We have exciting news! As of June 20, 2024, the [psychotherapy/counselling therapy] services we offer will no longer have GST/HST apply. This puts our services on par with other essential health services. We hope this helps make our services more accessible for a wider audience.

The change is effective for services provided on or after June 20, 2024. If we provided your service before then and you paid afterwards, GST/HST still applies.

[For clients in Ontario & Quebec]
If you claim this expense on your taxes, there’s no change. You’ll continue to be able to claim psychotherapy services for the Medical Expense Tax Credit.

[For clients in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and PEI]
If you claim this expense on your taxes, there’s no change. You’ll continue to be able to claim counselling therapy services for the Medical Expense Tax Credit.
